Hello All,
A little later this week, but heres the post! Paypal who we all know and love, and rely upon when we complete transactions online, are making these transaction even safer. Phishing is an issue Paypal spend a lot of time and money protecting us from, are now going as far, as too block some web browsers they feel not to be fit, too send personal details over. The block will not be instant, but instead customers will be warned, and then blocked.
Although most of us do our best to use the most up to date browsers, firewall and Ant-Virus software, there are some, less ‘computer literart’ who dont. According to some sources, Paypal rekon there are some people still using web nrowsers as old as IE 3. Even further there are those who have not firewall or anti-virus. This is a concern, as these people, could be tricked, by a phishing attack, to give there data to a source other than the one they intended, to a site that looks very similar to the one they are using.
This I feel is av ery good move and does in fact refer back to the post on Banking online I did a couple of weeks ago. By Paypal doing this and there methods, as well as protecting customer data, they are most importantly of all making people aware!
Hope this has been useful

I think they should block IE totally lol! Its good awareness as long as they warn people who are not so good with computers before they block there web browser.
As always a good post (bit short and late tho )
